HELPING HANDS:Each month we will be asking for specific donations to be handed out during the Helping Hands sessions. For the month of Januarywe are asking for donations of cleaning suppliesand body wash. All donations can be dropped off at United during normal office hours, or contact Wendy Seyler (570) 502-0683. As always, your kindness is greatly appreciated.

ONE-GALLON CHALLENGE:The Clinton County Ministerium is sponsoring their annual fund drive to help our brothers and sisters who struggle to heat their homes each winter. Everyone is asked to donate the cost of one gallon of fuel ($4.00). 

LOCK HAVEN UNIVERSITYhas opened a Food Cupboard at the Former Beth Yehuda Synagogue. All donations collected will be given to LHU students in need. Donations needed include: peanut butter, jelly, mac & cheese, small microwavable meal containers (not frozen), fruit and/or pudding cups, small cans of tuna or chicken, small packages of instant rice and/or potatoes, soup, popcorn, and paper products. Any monetary donations can be made payable to the Lock Haven University Foundation. Please contact Amy Downes at (570) 484-2305 or Havencupboard@lockhaven.eduwith any questions. Food is given out every Wednesday from 7-9 PM. It will re-open in January when the students return for Spring semester.

PROTESTANT CAMPUS MINISTRY (PCM)at Lock Haven University is looking for new members to join the board. If you have a heart for campus ministry, please join us! Let Pastor Runser know you are interested in joining the board, or if you would like more information. The next meeting is scheduled for Wed., Jan. 8 at 10:30 AM at United.

A SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETINGwill be held at all churches TODAYfollowing the worship services to discuss a new copier for the parish. Copies of the proposal are available.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:Altar Guild is looking for volunteers to assist in setting up and removing altar and communion items each week. Please contact Jean McKeague for more information.

ANNUAL REPORTS DUE:All committees should submit their 2019 annual report to the church office by Tues., Jan. 14, 2020.

ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETINGwill be held on Sun., Jan. 26, 2020. This meeting will review and approve the 2019 Annual reports submitted. Please plan to stay following the meeting for a Chicken & Waffle Dinner.

COUNCILwill meet on Tues., Jan. 21stat 6:30 PM in the Painter Room. Election of Officers will take place during this meeting. All new council members should attend this meeting. Outgoing council members are encouraged to attend.
