HELPING HANDS:Each month we will be asking for specific donations to be handed out during the Helping Hands sessions. For the month of Decemberwe are asking for donations of small toys or books for kids. All donations can be dropped off at United during normal office hours, or contact Wendy Seyler (570) 502-0683. As always, your kindness is greatly appreciated.

ONE-GALLON CHALLENGE:The Clinton County Ministerium is sponsoring their annual fund drive to help our brothers and sisters who struggle to heat their homes each winter. Everyone is asked to donate the cost of one gallon of fuel ($4.00). 

LOCK HAVEN UNIVERSITYhas opened a Food Cupboard at the Former Beth Yehuda Synagogue. All donations collected will be given to LHU students in need. Donations needed include: peanut butter, jelly, mac & cheese, small microwavable meal containers (not frozen), fruit and/or pudding cups, small cans of tuna or chicken, small packages of instant rice and/or potatoes, soup, popcorn, and paper products. Any monetary donations can be made payable to the Lock Haven University Foundation. Please contact Amy Downes at (570) 484-2305 or Havencupboard@lockhaven.eduwith any questions. Food is given out every Wednesday from 7-9 PM. It will re-open in January when the students return for Spring semester.

PROTESTANT CAMPUS MINISTRY (PCM)at Lock Haven University is looking for new members to join the board. If you have a heart for campus ministry, please join us! Let Pastor Runser know you are interested in joining the board, or if you would like more information. The next meeting is scheduled for Wed., Jan. 8 at 10:30 AM at United.

OFFICE CLOSED:The office will be closed from Wed., Dec. 25ththrough Wed., Jan. 1st. Pastor Runser will be available by phone if needed.

WELCAwill meet on Tues., Jan. 7that 12 Noon in the Painter Room at United, weather permitting.

INSTALLATION OF COUNCILSwill be held during the worship services on Sun., Jan. 12th

A SPECIAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETINGwill be held at all churches on Sun., Jan. 5thfollowing the worship services to discuss a new copier for the parish. Copies of the proposal will be available on that Sunday.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:Altar Guild is looking for volunteers to assist in setting up and removing altar and communion items each week. Please contact Jean McKeague for more information.

SUNDAY SCHOOLis collecting hats, mittens and scarfs for the Women’s Center and donations of dog food (no dyes), Cat litter, Dish soap, hand sanitizer, bleach, or laundry detergent for the SPCA. Please put all SPCA donations under the tree in the narthex.

WORSHIP SCHEDULESfor January & February 2020 are located in the tables in the narthex. Please grab a copy of each.

2019 CONTRIBUTIONS:All contributions for 2019 must be received by TODAYin order to be included on your contribution sheet.

2020 OFFERING ENVELOPESare available on the tables in the 1stfloor hallway. Please remember to pick yours up before the end of the year, and do notuse them until January 2020.

CHAT & CRAFTwill meet on the 2nd& 4thThursdays of each month beginning at 9 AM in the Painter Room. The first meeting of the New Year will be held on Thurs., Jan. 9th, weather permitting.

YOUTH BIBLE STUDYwill be held on Sun., Jan. 5thfrom 3:30-5:30 PM in the Fellowship Hall.

ANNUAL REPORTS DUE:All committees should submit their 2019 annual report to the church office by Tues., Jan. 14, 2020.

ANNUAL CONGREGATIONAL MEETINGwill be held on Sun., Jan. 26, 2020. This meeting will review and approve the 2019 Annual reports submitted. Please plan to stay following the meeting for a Chicken & Waffle Dinner.

COUNCILwill meet on Tues., Jan. 21stat 6:30 PM in the Painter Room. Election of Officers will take place during this meeting. All new council members should attend this meeting. Outgoing council members are encouraged to attend.
