HELPING HANDS:Each month we will be asking for specific donations to be handed out during the Helping Hands sessions. For the month of Novemberwe are asking for donations of small toys or books for kids. All donations can be dropped off at United during normal office hours, or contact Wendy Seyler (570) 502-0683. As always, your kindness is greatly appreciated.

ONE-GALLON CHALLENGE:The Clinton County Ministerium is sponsoring their annual fund drive to help our brothers and sisters who struggle to heat their homes each winter. Everyone is asked to donate the cost of one gallon of fuel ($4.00). The initial gathering of monetary gifts will take place at the community Thanksgiving service, but please consider additional gifts throughout the winter.



+SERVICES FORNovember will be held at St. Paul, Mill Hall at 10:30 AM.

+A COLLECTIONwill be taken on the first Sunday of each month to benefit St. Paul’s Food Pantry.

+ST. PAUL, MILL HALL COUNCILwill meet on Wed., Nov. 20 at 6 PM.

+A POTLUCKluncheon will be held TODAYfollowing the worship service. This luncheon is in honor of the baptism of Lydia Ruth-Anne Bates. Please bring a dish to share.

+PLEASE PLANon attending “Hot Chocolate, Cookies, & Praise” on Sun., Nov. 17 following the worship service at St. Paul, Mill Hall. Please bring cookies to share. Coffee will be provided. Door prizes, too!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:Altar Guild is looking for volunteers to assist in setting up and removing altar and communion items each week. Please contact Jean McKeague for more information.

COUNCIL OPENINGS:Two volunteers are needed to fill the Church Council. Positions currently occupied by Lynda Carey and Jean McKeague, whose terms are ending in December 2019. Please prayerfully consider accepting election to this vital position. Council meets 9-10 times per year on the third Tuesday at 6:30 PM. Our church needs your support and input if we are to carry out our goal of spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.

+OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD demonstrates God’s love to hurting children in a tangible way by partnering with churches worldwide to deliver gift-filled shoeboxes and the Good News of Jesus Christ. Remember to choose a gender/age group of the child you are purchasing items for. All shoeboxes can be dropped off on the tables in the 1stfloor hallway of United until Sun. Nov. 17th. Brochures and bookmarks are available. Empty shoeboxes are available on the tables to use for your donations.Toothpaste & candy are no longer allowed in the shoeboxes due to customs regulations. WELCA has generously agreed to pay for all shipping costs.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:Will you be attending the Christmas Eve and/or Christmas Day services? We are in need of Ushers, an Assisting Minister, a Communion Assistant, and an Acolyte/Crucifer. If you are interested, please contact the office.

YOUTH BIBLE STUDYwill be held TODAYfrom 3:30-5:30 PM in Fellowship Hall at United. Come and enjoy dinner, a Bible lesson with Pastor Runser, crafts & music. Youth of all ages are welcome & encouraged to attend.

COUNCILwill meet on Tues., Nov. 19 at 6:30 PM. Item on the agenda include approving the 2020 proposed budget.

POINSETTIAS:Orders have begun! The price is $5.50 per plant. Deadline for ordering is Sun., Dec. 8. No orders will be taken after this date. Envelopes will be available on the tables in the Narthex.

ADVENT DECORATINGwill take place following the worship service on Sun., Nov. 24th. Your help is greatly appreciated.
