HELPING HANDS:Each month we will be asking for specific donations to be handed out during the Helping Hands sessions. For the month of Augustwe are asking for donations of school supplies. All donations can be dropped off at United during normal office hours, or contact Wendy Seyler (570) 502-0683. As always, thank you for assisting us in branching out on our own to help us service our community better.

SUMMER CONCERTS: Lamar Lighthouse Camp will host their concert series each Sunday throughout the summer. This year the concerts will be held at the Cedar Heights Brethren In Christ Church, Mill Hall due to structural issues in the Tabernacle. Below is a list of the summer schedule. All concerts begin at 7:00 PM and are FREE. A love-offering will be taken.

PARISH PICNIC:TODAYwe will hold our Annual Parish Picnic beginning at 10:30 AM at the Lion’s Club Campground in Booneville. A Holy Eucharist worship service will begin followed by the picnic. Everyone from all five churches, visitors, and friends are invited. An indoor worship service with Holy Eucharist will be offered at 9:00 AM at United for those who are unable to attend the picnic. Pastor Runser will preside and preach at both services. Please bring table service, drinks, and a covered dish to share.

ST. PAUL, MILL HALL NEWS

+SERVICES FORAugust will be held at Salona at 10:30 AM.

+A COLLECTIONwill be taken on the first Sunday of each month to benefit St. Paul’s Food Pantry.

UNITED, LOCK HAVEN NEWS

+SERVICESwill be held at 9:00 AM.

+ALL PRAYER CHAIN requests should be directed to Lena Welsh at (570) 748-3787.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:Altar Guild is looking for volunteers to assist in setting up and removing altar and communion items each week. Please contact Jean McKeague for more information.

SUMMER COLLECTION:WELCA will collect items over the months of June, July & August to benefit the Women’s Center. Items needed include: paper towels, hand soap, Clorox wipes, feminine products, detergent, trash bags, kids snacks, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk. Donations can be dropped off in the box located in the first-floor hallway until the end of August.

WORSHIP SCHEDULESfor September and October are now available on the tables in the narthex. Please pick up a copy of each.
