HELPING HANDS:Each month we will be asking for specific donations to be handed out during the Helping Hands sessions. For the month of Maywe are asking for donations of shower gel and dish detergent. All donations can be dropped off at United during normal office hours, or contact Wendy Seyler (570) 502-0683. As always, thank you for assisting us in branching out on our own to help us service our community better.

SYNOD ASSEMBLY: Two delegates from each church are needed to attend the 32ndAnnual Synod Assembly on Fri., June 14 & Sat., June 15 at Susquehanna University. This year’s theme is “On the Way Together: United, Supporting, Serving.” Rev. Ruben Duran will be our ELCA Churchwide representative. Meal-tickets must be pre-ordered and CANNOT be purchased at Susquehanna University. Meal registration deadline is May 20. This year will again be paperless. NITTANY VALLEY FELLOWSHIPwill host a spring hymn sing TONIGHTbeginning at 7:00 PM at Clintondale UMC.

NITTANY VALLEY FELLOWSHIPwill meet on Mon., May 6that 7:00 PM at Lamar UMC.

BIBLE STUDYwill be held on Thursdays, May 9, 16 & 30 beginning at 6:30 PM in the library at United. The topic of this Bible study is “The Gospel of Luke.”



+SERVICES FORMay will be held at St. Paul, Mill Hall beginning at 10:30 AM.

+A COLLECTIONwill be taken on the first Sunday of each month to benefit St. Paul’s Food Pantry.

+SAVE THE DATE – June 9th!  We are having a luncheon with games and prizes for all ages. Sign-ups are needed for soup, salad and sandwiches. Please no desserts or drinks, as both will be provided. Please see or contact Cindy Bryan to sign up for food and/or to let her know if you will be attending.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:Altar Guild is looking for volunteers to assist in setting up and removing altar and communion items each week. Please contact Jean McKeague for more information if you are interested in volunteering.

COOL WHIP containers needed! Please drop off empty Cool Whip containers on the tables in the first floor hallway. We use these to transport our altar flowers each week.

ATLAR FLOWERopenings on Sun., Nov. 10th.   If you would like to sponsor flowers on this date, please contact Michele in the office.

LHU PIZZA PARTY: Protestant Campus Ministry is holding a pizza party to celebrate the end of the semester on Tues., May 7thfrom 5-7:30 PM at the second pavilion next to Stevenson Library. Volunteers are asked to arrive at 4:30 PM to start setting up. Our congregation is responsible for spoons and napkins. All donations can be placed on the table in the first floor hallway. Monetary donations are needed to help purchase pizza. Please see Kay Land or Carol Hildebrand with your monetary donations.

CAMP MOUNT LUTHERis looking for craft supplies for their summer camping sessions. Please consider donating: paper plates, plastic craft lace, popsicle sticks, play dough, markers, egg cartons, acrylic paint, clear/scotch tape, duct tape, and/or scissors (for small hands). All donations can be dropped off on the tables in the first floor hallway at United. All donations that are received mean fewer expenses for Camp. Your support is greatly appreciated.
